About us
Who We Are
Founded in 2019, Nadharia was created in response to the growing challenges faced by trans masculine and gender non-conforming individuals, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. With rising eviction rates and discrimination, we established a transitional shelter to provide immediate safety. Recognizing the need for long-term solutions, we expanded into economic empowerment, mental wellness, and advocacy to ensure sustainable progress.
Our Approach
Our mission
Nadharia CBO advocates for the rights and wellbeing of sexual and gender minorities, tackling unemployment, unstable housing, and mental health through holistic solutions.
We provide transitional safe housing for those in immediate danger, income-generating activities to combat job discrimination, and capacity-building programs to empower youth. Through sports, performing arts, and vocational training, we create safe spaces where individuals can express themselves, build skills, and find community.
Our vision
To build a society where sexual and gender minorities thrive without discrimination or violence, Nadharia envisions equitable opportunities, safety, and dignity for all.
At Nadharia, we dream of a world where no one has to hide who they are to feel safe or accepted. A world where stable employment, secure housing, and mental wellbeing are not privileges but rights. We strive to create a future where diversity is celebrated, inclusion is the norm, and everyone can live authentically and freely.

DONATE
our support helps us provide shelter, vocational training, mental health services, and advocacy for trans masculine and gender non-conforming individuals. Every donation directly impacts lives by funding safe housing, economic opportunities, and community programs.
